Today, Geek and Sundry premieres a new show called Craft Lab that will appear regularly on Tuesdays in their weekly programming schedule. The show features Hollywood production designer and geek Greg Aronowitz using unconventional materials to build works of art inspired from popular culture and is hosted by YouTube personality Anna Akana.
At the beginning of the show, the duo will spin two wheels to identify a geek culture icon and the materials to use to craft. Most of the projects are not meant for the causal DIY fan to make out of items they have sitting around the home and in today’s premiere episode Aronowitz builds Smaug from The Hobbit own out of plastic spoons.
