US Quidditch–our own national governing body of the International Quidditch Association–has just announced the location of this year’s Quidditch World Cup. World Cup 8 will be held in Rock Hill, SC at Manchester Meadows on April 11-12.
Some 1600 players representing 80 different teams will meet on the pitch with but a single goal: to unseat two-time winner the University of Texas at Austin.
Early bird tickets for this co-ed, family-friendly event are already available, while more information can be found at the official event site.
