TINKER BELL AND THE LEGEND OF THE NEVERBEAST
My daughter already loves the Scout Fairies

You might think that the guy who wants to run the other way when a big dog shows up might not be the best choice for directing a movie that focuses on (spoiler alert) a large hairy beast. But hey, part of being a parent is learning to overcome your own hangups for the benefit of your kids, right? Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast director, Steven Loter, (also of Kim Possible fame) did just that with the help of his daughter, Calista, when he brought his talents to the newest chapter in the Disney Fairies franchise. Here’s Steven and his daughter talking about it in this exclusive clip from the Blu-ray extra:

In addition to the clip, the image at the top of the article is the latest addition to the seemingly-endless Fairy Job Classification system, the Scout Fairies. Determined to capture the NeverBeast of the title, it’s a fair bet that they’re channeling some of that same fear. Despite that, my daughter already loves them (and the NeverBeast himself… but you’ll have to wait for the review to check him out). Tinker Bell and the Legend of the Neverbeast is out on Blu-ray, Disney Movies Anywhere, and Digital HD next Tuesday, March 3. Be on the lookout for my review soon after!
