RUSH R40 North American Tour Announced

With forty years and over twenty Gold and Platinum albums behind them, Rush would appear to be ready to leave the limelight behind them and retire to their uncle’s farm, but that is not the case! Last Thursday, January 22, Rush announced their R40 Tour.

To celebrate forty years together, Rush will embark on a whirlwind tour of 34 cities in North America over the course of the summer. Whether you have never seen this band perform before, or whether, like me, you are a Rush concert veteran, you owe it to yourself to make a date with Rush at one of the shows.

With a body of work ranging from their self-titled first album, through the 1980s heyday of Permanent Waves and Signals, continuing on until their most recent offering, Clockwork Angels, Rush has a library of songs that is unequaled in modern rock. On a previous tour, they performed their seminal Moving Pictures album in its entirety! Who knows what wonders await their fans this time around?
