Robin Williams, one of the funniest actors and comedians of the last 40 years, has passed away. The news has been all over Twitter this afternoon, and is making its way onto the news outlets. Even more tragic is that there are indications it was suicide.
Williams’ comedy albums were some of my eariest exposures to stand-up, and movies like Good Will Hunting will stand as classics. These days, our whole family was looking forward to another season of the hilarious The Crazy Ones. All of GeekDad sends our condolences to his family and friends. We have lost a legend.
Robin was also a member of the computer interest group and also the model railroad community. Saw him several times at the Computer Faires in the city and at a local hobby shop. A nice gentle man. We will miss him.
