If you’re like most of us at GeekDad, you can’t wait for the Guardians of the Galaxy movie to hit theaters on August 1. Fortunately, you don’t have to wait that long to get a taste of the… eclectic team of heroes on screen. Tomorrow morning, the Guardians of the Galaxy will make a new appearance on the TV show Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors.
The episode, titled “The Return of the Guardians of the Galaxy,” will air at 9:00am ET/PT tomorrow (Sunday, July 6) on Disney XD. Preceding the new episode at 8:00 and 8:30 ET will be repeat episodes of Marvel: Avengers Assemble and Marvel: Ultimate Spider-Man that feature the Guardians as well. Not much has been revealed about the plot of the new episode, but you can see an exclusive image from it above, and – even better – watch a clip from it below:
