Doubleclicks Dimetrodon Tour

In case you missed the massively successful Kickstarter project, The Doubleclicks have released their latest album, Dimetrodon. The Doubleclicks are two sisters from Portland, Oregon, who make fun songs for geeky people. We’ve had Dimetrodon playing on repeat in the van, and my kids have also been having fun with the print-it-yourself coloring and activity book:

And now they’re going on tour, including places they haven’t been before. If you haven’t been to a Doubleclicks’ show, check to see if they’ll be in your town. Some of the shows are kid-friendly and some aren’t, so check for details before you go.

If you can’t make it to a show, you can still join The Doubleclicks for the second season of Weekly Song Wednesday, where they post a new music video each week. Their latest is a cover of “TROGDOR the Burninator.” (He was a man. I mean, he was a dragon-man. Uh, maybe he was just a dragon.)

Visit the Doubleclicks website for the tour schedule. Dimetrodon is available from iTunes, Amazon, Bandcamp, CDBaby, and (of course) from The Doubleclicks on their tour.
