Introducing Skinit’s inkFusion Line

Electronics

inkfusionThis week online purveyor of fine consumer electronics covers Skinit introduced a new line of cases for the iPhone and Samsung Galaxy (as well as the iPad and iPod Touch). Skinit’s inkFusion series features glossy, high-impact cases that offer protection without compromising the functionality of your device.

Skinit hooked me up with an early review unit, and I elected to go with the minimalist inkFusion Lite. This single-piece polymer shell has all the requisite cutaways coupled with a precise edge-to-edge printing process that makes for a really handsome cover that starts at an affordable $24.99. Those looking for a little more protection, however, will likely want to check out the inkFusion Pro, a case that combines the same stylish shell with an internal liner for additional impact protection for around $10 more.

Like most of Skinit’s products, you can customize a unique wrap-around design for your inkFusion, or you can choose from a really nice selection of licensed images. Normally, I’d opt for a custom case, but given that Skinit had pre-generated graphics from properties as disparate as Hello Kitty, He-Man, DC Comics and my NHL team of choice the New York Rangers, I instead elected to go with an off-the-rack design.

voltronI settled on a two-tone Voltron graphic that looks positively stunning, and a rugged clear coat finish helps keep it that way. Let’s face it; we buy cases to keep our ridiculously expensive, super-sexy phones and other devices safe. And if those cases are themselves attractive and durable? All the better!

If you’re in the market for a new case, definitely give Skinit’s offerings a look. These new inkFusion models are a solid value, and the Skinit site features a great selection of existing designs, an easy-to-use tool for custom cases and a helpful ratings system that spotlights each style’s relative sleekness and protection level to help you determine which product best fits your needs.
