There are always a lot of playing card Kickstarter projects running at any given time. I used to collect playing cards, so I’ve backed a few of them, but at some point I stopped looking because there are just so many. This one, though, caught my eye: Royal Dinosaur Playing Cards.
The illustrations on the cards, by Griffin Gonzales and No Reply Design, are a fun mix of goofy and classy. Dinosaurs with crowns and fancy patterns is a winning combination, if you ask me.
I love the way the designs call to mind traditional poker cards. But, you know, with dinosaurs. Even the number cards have little dinosaur silhouettes on them in random places.
No Reply Design is planning a limited print run, so a lot of the reward levels are sold out or going fast, but there are still some options to get multiple decks or some of the deck-plus-goodies rewards.
