Gen Con Family Fun Badges on Sale Now

Geek Culture Tabletop Games

gen-con-logoGen Con—the largest tabletop gaming convention in the world*—just announced a bargain rate for the Family Fun Day badges for its 2014 show. It’s usually $50 each for a single-day badge for the show, but you can now buy a four-pack of Family Fun Day badges—good on Sunday, August 17—for only $30 total. You can grab them at the show, or at GenCon.com for onsite pickup at Will Call.

Held in downtown Indianapolis every August (well, since 2003, when it moved there from Milwaukee), Gen Con has established a massive amount of family-friendly programming over the years. There are kid-only events scheduled for every day, and there’s a gigantic Family Fun Pavilion in exhibit hall. It includes the Training Grounds, which is for young gamers (or aspiring gamers) ages 4–12.

I bring my entire family these days, and we’re planning to join the fun again this year. Come on out and join us if you can.
