Today’s episode of Songs for Unusual Creatures features what is probably the most unusual creature of all: the tardigrade. I actually hadn’t known much about tardigrades (also known as water bears) until a few years ago when I read The Search for WondLa, which features some giant beasts inspired by them. Tardigrades are microscopic creatures that can survive just about anything, and you can find them in your backyard!
