Fox really wants to get you pumped up for Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey–and really, why wouldn’t you be? Just in case, though, the TV network is launching a night of free screening events for the upcoming documentary series, in 10 cities across the United States.

On Tuesday, March 4, Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey will make its big debut at select locations in Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Orlando, San Francisco, St. Louis, and Washington, D.C. However, the fans in the viewing audience won’t just be the first to see the upcoming TV series. They will also take part in a special Q&A with host Neil deGrasse Tyson, writer/executive producer/director Ann Druyan (widow of the late Carl Sagan), executive producer Seth MacFarlane, executive producer Mitchell Cannold, executive producer/director Brannon Braga, and co-executive producer Jason Clark.

Of course, those people (and their lengthy titles) can’t be in all 10 cities at once—at least, not in person. The Q&A will be held at the Cosmos Pavilion at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and then uplinked via satellite to the various screening locations.

If you want to attend the event, check the Cosmos RSVP website for a list of locations and showtimes. Then, you can RSVP for the event in your area! It’s free, but also limited, so you’d better get clicking. Otherwise, you can catch the Q&A starting at 9:00 p.m. (ET) on the Cosmos website or through Livestream.

Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey will make its television debut on Sunday, March 9 at 9:00 p.m. (ET) on your local Fox affiliate, as well as the National Geographic Channel, FX, FXX, FXM, Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo Mundo and Fox Life. Yes, it’s a very big deal! (And if you still don’t know why, check out the show’s trailer below.) From there, the show will air every Sunday night at 10:00 p.m. on Fox, with each episode getting a replay the next night on the National Geographic Channel.

  1. One mistake, Cosmos is going to be on the same time as The Walking Dead which is a mistake, since many in the geek/nerd world watches TWD. I will watch Cosmos, on my DVR.
