I’m sure you’ve seen the Skylanders-like Telepods for Angry Birds games. These little toys allow you to bring in custom characters to project with your catapult. More recently the new Angry Birds Go! Kart Racing game has used these Telepod toys to grant access to different vehicles.
It’s all a lot of fun but can get confusing fast — especially as you can purchase items with or without the toys. I got a friend to put the game through its paces, and look at the in-app purchases in particular.
