Fellow GeekDad Matt Blum introduced me to this site a couple weeks ago. At first it looked like any other shirt-a-day site, but closer scrutiny and one order later and I can tell this one is different. Matt hit me with a link to the Advanced Robot Statistics shirt, knowing full well that I can’t resist robot shirts. My wife frequently claims that all my shirts have robots on them, and she’s about 95% correct. I won’t vouch for the accuracy of the robot statistics on this shirt, but the content is funny, as is the product description.
Shipping was free and my shirt still arrived less than a week later. The quality of both the t-shirt and the printing was excellent. My only caution would be that that the XXL size runs a little small. The XXL that I ordered fit about the same as an XL from ThinkGeek or TeeFury. Anytime I buy from a new company I err on the larger size and this time I’m glad I did.
Fans of Schrödinger or his cat will enjoy today’s design, and robot enthusiasts should get a charge out of the Advanced Robot Statistics. The daily shirt is $15, past designs are $19 and shipping is free.
Is the quality of the shirts any good? I’ve bought a number of shirts from Ript (https://www.riptapparel.com) and I’ve now given up on that site — poor quality material, design often is not centered on shirt properly, very thin cotton that tears easily/wears out fast.
I was very impressed with the quality of the shirt. The fabric was thick with a high thread count and the collar had a rib sewn in for reinforcement. Just be sure to get a size bigger.
