This is simply wonderful: Fathom Events, who brings all the special programming into movie theaters, like the Cinematic Titanic shows, is partnering to show “The Day of the Doctor,” the 50th anniversary episode of Doctor Who that we’ve all been hearing about, in theaters around the country on November 25th. Tickets go on sale tomorrow!

This extraordinary one-night event will take place on Monday, November 25 at 7:30pm (local time) in select cinemas nationwide and includes behind-the-scenes bonus content exclusive to theaters!

Shot in 3D, The Day of the Doctor stars Matt Smith, David Tennant, Jenna Coleman with Billie Piper and John Hurt. The action packed adventure reveals that the Doctor has a dangerous past. And he’s coming back!

  1. Interesting that we don’t get it on the 23rd like they will in England. I wonder if promoters just couldn’t book theaters for a Saturday night because that’s such an important night for weekend box office here in the States.
