There’s a bit of geek love for Daft Punk, what with the amazing Tron: Legacy soundtrack, and the retro-70s fun of their follow-up, Random Access Memories. And, as with a lot of electronic music, the remixes can be as good (even better) than the originals. Such is the case with this rather amazing re-striping of the entirety of RAM by the duo known as Darkside (as opposed to Darkseid), that is by turns industrial, bluesy, laid back, and intense.
If you’ve already spent hours tapping your toes and nodding your head to the Daft Punk original, be prepared to discover it all over again.
