Cartoon Network’s next DC Comics-inspired series will be a reboot of the Batman franchise called Beware The Batman. This one looks stylistically somewhere between the previous The Batman series and the CGI of the much missed Green Lantern: The Animated Series, which finished up last March. Based on the show reel, it looks like it’s going to be pretty amazing.
The clips show several seemingly new villains, and a Batman costume with tall, angular horns that is a throwback to the first Batman costume of the late 1930s.
What do you think? Will this be a good addition to the Batman legacy or just another rehash of the same ol’ stuff?

The villains appear to be Anarky, Mr. Pyg, and possibly Magpie. (All B-list at best in the comics, but full of potential.)
