A press release received earlier today from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment revealed the less-than surprising news that a third Arkham title is in the works for consoles. But while prequel Batman: Arkham Origins, available on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC, is likely a no-brainer after the reception Arkham Asylum and Arkham City received from gamers and critics, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, a 2.5-D title developed for the Nintendo 3DS and Sony’s PS Vita handheld systems, promises to bring a continuation of the core storyline to the portable realm.
