Tonight’s new Phineas and Ferbs should be real honeys of episodes. For an interesting change of pace, both episodes center around bees.
In the first episode, “Bee Day,” airing at 9:00pm ET/PT on the Disney Channel, the brothers make a giant inflatable wading pool for their mom, while Dr. Doofenshmirtz attempts to become ruler of all bees.
The second new episode airs immediately afterwards at 9:15pm ET/PT, and takes a detour from the normal story lines (if normal is the right word), centering around Isabella and the other Fireside Girls. In an episode called “Bee Story,” the Fireside Girls fight the evil Professor Poofenplotz as she tries to take over the world with a plot involving royal jelly. This episode also features the return of actress Jane Leeves, formerly of Frasier and currently of Hot in Cleveland, in her voice role as Warrant Officer Wanda (and Queen Bee).
