Tom Heck is a proper geek dad. A little while back, he did a great job of recreating the balloon/camera project from my book Geek Dad: Awesomely Geeky Projects and Activities for Dads and Kids to Share. So, when he asked me if he could do a talk about being a Geek Dad for the Ignite: Asheville conference I was happy to give him the nod (more like: who the heck am I to say ‘no?’).
