GottaCon 2013 Begins Tomorrow

Geek Culture

If you live in, or around, Victoria, BC, it’s not too late to join me this weekend for GottaCon 2013.

GottaCon is a family-friendly broad-spectrum gaming convention, held at Pearkes Recreation Centre. The doors will open at 5 pm on Friday, February 1, 2013 and close at 7 pm on Sunday, February 3, 2013, for 50 hours of non-stop gaming and special events.

Once again, I am back in the role of Special Events Coordinator. This year, I have arranged the most diverse panels GottaCon has had, to date.

You can read more about each of the guests, and the descriptions for the panels on GottaCon’s website.

If panels are not your thing, then there are a whole bunch of tabletop RGPs, board games, trading card games, miniature games, electronic games, and more for you to choose from. Plus, you can become eligible for the hourly door prizes simple by participating in a number of demos.

Tickets are available at the door for $50.00 for a full weekend pass. You can also get discounts on family passes, or purchase per day passes.

For a complete list of all the events offered this year, and ticket prices, visit GottaCon’s website.

Maybe I’ll see some of you there!
