GeekDad Puzzle of the Week: Guinea Pig, Labrador, Kale

Geek Culture

When my hair falls out, I will wear Templeton.

This is Templeton. Templeton eats kale. In fact, if Templeton is left in the house alone, she will find all the kale and eat it. We also have two Labradors. They do not eat kale. But they would happily eat Templeton. Both eatings are non-optimal. Oh, the dogs also eat guinea pig bedding (don’t ask). And so the only way to change the bedding is to export the guinea pig, the kale and the Labradors from the house to the garden shed until the dirty deed is done. The dogs can’t be left alone with Templeton and Templeton can’t be left alone with the kale. If I can only carry one thing — dogs, Templeton, or kale — at once, how can I ferry these incompatible things from the house to the shed without anything being consumed?

Yes, this puzzle may ring a bell.
