Film Expert Explains Why Moon Landings Could Not Have Been Faked

Television

In an age where almost any idea can be turned into realistic-looking visuals, we tend to forget that these abilities haven’t always been with us. But writer/director S. G. Collins didn’t forget, and applied that understanding to this wonderfully detailed takedown of moon landing conspiracies. The bottom line is: the original moon landing video couldn’t have been a fake, because we didn’t have the technical skill to pull such a thing off (yes, it was just easier to actually go to the moon). But watch the video for his sensible, and enjoyably geeky, technical explanations.

Although, Al Hunt (@fracture98 on Twitter) mentioned something he’d heard from Stephen Fry once that is an even simpler argument for how we know the landings weren’t faked: the USSR never called BS on them. ‘Nuff said.
