I’m sure we’ve all wished for access to a Star Trek replicator, but that technology is still a lot more science fiction than fact. We can pretend with our fancy microwaves and a well stocked freezer, but I always imagined the food of Star Trek tasting a lot better than a Swanson Chicken Pot Pie.
While I can’t tell who’s behind the Food Replicator blog on Tumblr, it is quite evident that they know their Trek history and their way around a kitchen. Many of the recipes I’ve looked at seem reasonable, and most of them look appetizing. The Petrokian Sausages and Klingon Octopus look interesting but I think I’ll pass on the Andorian Cabbage Soup. Anyone up for a Star Trek themed dinner party?
