I’ve been a huge fan of comedy music ever since I listened to the Tom Lehrer LPs my parents had lying around when I was a kid (if you don’t know who Tom Lehrer is, stop now, find his albums on iTunes or Amazon, download and enjoy immediately). And with the ascension of geek culture and internet distribution (yeah, YouTube!), nerdy comedy music is thriving today more so than any other time in history (that’s a trupinion!).
Enter the latest song/video from the duo Hard ‘n Phirm (which is, if you are unaware, Chris Hardwick and Mike Phirman – the Nerdist and his house band, respectively), Gersberms (Yer Gervin Mah). If you’re not familiar with the Gersberms/Ermahgerd meme, I suggest you check out Know Your Meme to familiarize yourself. However, it may not be vital that you do so to enjoy the video below, which is filled with so much awesome that it stands on its own as an awesome-filled thing.
