‘Tis the season. Yes, it’s the season of love and togetherness… punctuated by the odd political canvasser who arrives in the middle of the kids’ bath time and doesn’t think it’s funny when you jest that your moaning, ancient Labrador merely wants to mouth him because the dog’s eyesight isn’t so good anymore. I mean, who doesn’t think that’s funny? Sheesh. Anyway, no matter the canvasser’s political persuasion it’s almost universally apparent the truth has gone south.
