We’ve previously highlighted the Firefly, an Arduino-compatible system with onboard power, charging, data logging, and radio communications–all the standard stuff that can take a while to piece together individually. The flexible “mission control” board can be used for a variety of projects such as weather balloons or robotics.

The folks at Kentucky Space and Evadot got tired of waiting for enough regular pre-orders to come in (it only makes sense to make them in volume at a good price!), so they’ve developed a funding campaign on Kickstarter to speed things along! Check out their campaign to see details about the board and some of their cool rewards including t-shirts, multiple boards, and tickets to the Cubesat Space Hackers Workshop in October.

Help makes these boards a reality and make it ever easier to create amazingly capable DIY projects!!
