Following up on the kid’s 3DS XL review and my 3DS battery test, we got a gaming mum to review one for us. It was interesting to see her first reaction to the system that she hadn’t seen before we started rolling the cameras.
As you can see in the video it’s all very positive apart from the fact that in the UK and Japan you won’t get a charger included in the box. No worries in the US though, which makes a nice change.
It will be interesting to see whether the 3DS XL sales eclipse the original 3DS when it launches on 19th August in the States. It is released a little sooner in other territories — July 28 in Europe/Japan and August 23 in Australia.
