You may not have been aware of it, but zombies actually have some pretty strong opinions about things. I mean, everyone knows they love brains. But what do they hate?
Well, thanks to artist Greg Stones, now we know. Stones illustrated a short little book with a self-explanatory title: Zombies Hate Stuff. The list of things they hate may surprise you: cavemen, archery, astronauts, re-gifting, kittens… The book also includes a handy section of things that zombies don’t mind: skiing, for instance, or Canadians. These may be very useful tips when it comes to surviving the zombiepocalypse.
Stones’ paintings are sparse, with just enough detail to set the scene. I love that his zombie wears a suit and tie, and the list of things zombies hate, don’t mind, and really hate are hilarious. It’s only 64 pages long and there’s really not a lot of text to it, but if you’re looking for a gift for somebody with a penchant for zombie humor, this might be the perfect little volume.
