TODAY’S PUZZLE:

What’s the total generating capacity (in megawatts) of the United States’ largest renewable-energy producer?

YESTERDAY’S ANSWER (mouseover to see):

Search [smallest hummingbird] to find the bee hummingbird, which weighs 0.06 ounces. Search [bee hummingbird flap wings] to find that the little bird’s top flying wing rate is 80 times per second. Search [seconds in one hour] to find that there are 3,600 seconds in an hour. Compute [3600 * 80] to find that its wings flap around 288,000 times in one hour at top speed.
