One of the best, most creative, and fun family video games is still LittleBigPlanet 2. There’s a lot to do, many ways to play, and it’s a wonderfully enjoyable for both parents and kids. Plus, because of a robust community, there are a seemingly endless number of levels to play and, on top of that, the developers also work hard to bring new content to the game to keep it fresh.
To that end, LittleBigPlanet 2 has seen not one, but three, Muppet costume packs in recent months. The first featured everything needed to turn your Sackperson into Kermit, Fozzie, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, or Beaker and the second pack featured Ms. Piggy, Gonzo, Statler, and Waldorf. The third was the Electric Mayhem pack with Dr. Teeth, Animal, Janice, Sgt. Floyd Pepper, and Zoot.
More recently was the release of the Muppets Premium Level Pack, the motherlode of DLC. While the Premium Pack has only one new costume, Rowlf, it has a bunch of other cool stuff: five new Muppet-themed levels, a new level background, some new trophies, a whole slew of new objects, decorations, materials, and stickers, and – best of all – a new material called Attract-O-Gel that allows your Sackboy (or girl) to walk on walls.
All packs are available now and all packs sell for $5.99. LittleBigPlanet 2 and the Muppet Packs are only available on PlayStation 3.
