Today, Sony announced that a new LittleBigPlanet title, LittleBigPlanet Karting, will launch later this year. Exclusive to the PS3, LittleBigPlanet Karting will allow players to competitively and cooperatively race in a 3D environment. The tracks, cars, and environment will all be unmistakably LittleBigPlanet.
While the game will be similar to other, classic karting games, LBPK will have its own unique LittleBigPlanet flair. Mini-games, boss battles, and objective-based missions are just a few of the styles of gameplay to be found. What’s more and in keeping with LittleBigPlanet roots, players will be able to customize (and share) karts, tracks, weapons, rules, and much more.
