This past weekend, my son and I had the good fortune to attend a press junket, courtesy of 20th Century Fox, for the upcoming Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace 3D release. The trip included a visit to Skywalker Ranch and to Lucasfilm’s main offices in San Francisco’s Presidio, and it was chock full of moments when it was hard to process that we actually were where we were, seeing what we were seeing.
I’ll be writing in the next week — with some assistance from my son — a more detailed account of the things we saw and did on the trip. But, until then, here’s a Flickr gallery slideshow of the photos from it — there are only a few shots of the Golden Gate Bridge, which I couldn’t resist taking, as it was such a beautiful day.
