Empire of Ice Adventure (image:amazon)
The Skylanders news keeps on coming this week. Following on from the third wave figures appearing on Amazon a few days ago, the new Empire of Ice adventure that includes the previously unreleased Slam Bam figure and a new adventure for the game has also appeared on the retailer’s site.
The Empire of Ice pack is currently being sold by two sellers on Amazon (From $46.99 to $69.99) and comes with four toys, each of which are used with the portal as follows:
Slam Bam
Slam Bam: New Skylanders figure in the Water element. His attacks combine a fist attack like that of Tree Stump and a Ice Shard attack like Prism Break. He can be upgraded to gain an Ice Prison attack to trap enemies as a range of armor improvements.
Ice Cave: Used in the Ruins to gain access to the new Empire of Ice chapter of the adventure.
Anvil Rain: Special item for use in the new adventure that rains down an area attack on enemies.
Iron Shield: Special item for us in the new adventure that protects all players for a limited time.
Slam Bam’s stats are as follows and make him one of the faster Water Skylanders:
- Health: 310
- Speed: 35
- Armor: 30
- Hit: 10
- Magic: 25
Empire of Ice joins the Pirates Seas adventure with Terrafin ($30 Amazon) and Darklight Crypt Adventure with Ghost Roaster ($18 Amazon). There is no further news on a release date for the Dragon’s Peak adventure or the remaining figures Lightning Rod, Zook, Warnado, Camo and Wham Shell.
