This Week With The GeekMoms

Sarah is looking forward to a visit from Santa this morning for some hopefully wonderful photo opportunities. She also plans to commence stage one of the big cookie experiment of ought eleven whilst fighting off the morning sickness that has decided to make a comeback for the third trimester.

Amy is thrilled to have launched the redesign of her kids’ media blog, Media Macaroni, this week. Please pop over and let her know what you think!

Rebecca Angel is looking forward to a fun weekend. Saturday is an experiment with no sugar, wheat or dairy in building an edible holiday house. We’re going to try rice-crispies with peanut butter…? And then Sunday is a friend’s Christmas party!

Laura is so contrary that the more she has to do the more she wants to kick back and read a damn book. After meeting the next deadline, she’s going to make a fort out of couch pillows and hide there with library books and a glass of wine.

Ariane is orchestrating a mess of contractors to fix up her new house. She’s looking forward to being done with the major repairs so she can finally decorate (a la geek) and make the house feel like home. Overshadowed by pending house repairs and an active toddler’s short attention span are her husband’s 30th birthday and the holidays.

Because she didn’t get quite enough time on the road last week, when Judy Berna drove from New York to Colorado with her daughter, she’s hitting the road once again, this time *only* driving from Denver to Salt Lake City. She can’t wait to see her college boy and bring him home for the holidays!

Brigid is hard at work with a new series of paintings featuring animals and Celtic knotwork.
