Stay-at-home dad and blogger Mike Adamick really wanted to get Angry Birds: Knock on Wood. But his daughter Emmeline suggested that they should just build one themselves. So he found himself designing a catapult with his daughter during Thanksgiving break (she wanted a catapult instead of a slingshot) and is now the proud owner of this:

I know, this isn’t the first homemade Angry Birds setup you’ve seen (and it certainly won’t be the last), but it’s a pretty fun story, the way Adamick tells it on his blog. Oh, and I can’t wait to see what his daughter’s “winter project” turns out to be.
