Your Chance to Win a Copy of The Jedi Path, Young Padawans

Geek Culture

In case you weren’t quick enough to snag last year’s Vault Edition of The Jedi Path, you’re in luck – the Jedi manual is being released as a hardcover book this month. While this edition lacks the extras of the Vault Edition, it is still a marvel to read and enjoy.

This ancient training manual has supposedly been passed down from Master to apprentice for hundreds of years and is allegedly the only one left in existence. The Jedi Path allows Jedi apprentices, both old and young, to learn the ways of the Force and, with the exception of copyright and credit information on the very last page, there is no indication that this book is not the real thing. Coupled with the fact that page after page has passages highlighted and notes written in the margins, The Jedi Path makes immersion a top priority.

Judging from the bookplate and notes in this book, former owners include Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Darth Sidious, and Luke Skywalker. Some of the pages have even been redacted by previous Jedi apprentices. (Perhaps to prevent lessons from being used against the dark side?) Among the many and important information and skills found in this manual, readers will learn how to make the most of their sense abilities, which aliens are resistant to Force abilities, and, of course, light saber techniques. Additionally, this volume contains never-before-seen ships, creatures and characters from the Star Wars galaxy.

If you’d like to win this one-of-a-kind manual and begin your path toward becoming a Jedi, please leave a comment below and indicate who you’d want to be your Jedi Master. We’ll use the Force to pick a random winner later in the week.

Note: This contest is closed and a winner has been selected – thanks to everyone who entered!
