Announcing the Winner of the Phineas and Ferb / Slash Guitar Giveaway!

All I can say is: Wow. I don’t have all the past data in front of me, but I’m reasonably certain that the giveaway of a very cool electric guitar decorated with cartoons from Phineas and Ferb and a cartoon version of rock icon Slash officially got the biggest response to any giveaway in GeekDad’s history. When all the invalid entries (mostly duplicates — you know who you are!) were removed, there were 2008 entries.

Sadly, though, only one of those 2008 entries can win the prize, and the lucky person is (drumroll, please)… Steve Kasmiersky! If you entered the giveaway but aren’t Steve, take heart in the fact that the soundtrack album Phineas and Ferb: Across the 1st and 2nd Dimensions is as of today available as a CD or MP3 downloads — and the TV movie debuts this Friday at 8pm ET/PT. You can also watch the video from the Phineas and Ferb Comic-Con panel. I realize none of that is quite as awesome as getting a free electric guitar, but I’m afraid it’s the best I can offer at the moment.
