In just a couple of weeks, The Throne of Fire, Rick Riordan’s sequel to The Red Pyramid will be released. The Throne of Fire is the second book in the popular Kane Chronicles series and follows two children, Carter and Sadie Kane, and involves Egyptian mythology.
In preparation for the book’s launch, the Percy Jackson author has released a second sneak peek at the book. While an earlier preview presented Carter’s perspective, this new installment presents Sadie’s point of view. The Kane Chronicles is a planned trilogy with the third book releasing in spring 2012. The Throne of Fire will be released on May 3rd.
Riordan is also hard at work finishing The Son of Neptune, the second book in the Heroes of Olympus series. The Son of Neptune will be released October 11 this year.
