Enter The Company Store Kids’ Design Contest

Geek Culture

To celebrate their 100th anniversary, The Company Store, known to me and many others as a good place to buy sheets, is holding a design contest for kids to create a brand new comforter design. The winning design will be turned into a comforter print for the company’s Buy One, Give One Comforter Donation Program. Through the program, for every comforter sold, the company donates a new comforter to a child that is homeless.

Kids 12 years old and under can enter the design contest with their original artwork. Upload submissions to the Company Kids Facebook page by March 28, 2011. Encourage art and support charitable giving by having your kids participate in this contest. Then return to the site to vote for the winning artwork between March 28, 2011 and April 2, 2011.

Whether your child sends in the winning entry or not, this is a great opportunity to teach your children about charitable giving and to foster their artistic endeavors. Good luck!

Note: One of The Company Kids backpacks was furnished for this post.
