I have very fond memories of high school geometry. Memorizing theorems wasn’t too hard, and solving proofs was like solving the logic puzzles that I did for fun anyway. But the theorems were scattered throughout the textbook, and it was sometimes hard to locate them if I forgot the exact wording.

Students today have many more tools at their disposal, including a new app called Geometry Stash. Instead of paging through their textbook for the theorems, now students can use this app. Geometry Stash lists all the commonly-used theorems, along with the text of each and very clear diagrams explaining what each one means, with everything clearly labeled. The app lists the theorems in alphabetical order, or you can search for particular ones. The app gives you search results as you type.

Geometry Stash also has the option to extend the text and diagrams to an external display, or even to use a projector for teaching in a classroom setting.

Geometry Stash doesn’t have a wide variety of functions or applications, but it doesn’t promise to do more than it does. Geometry Stash costs $1.99 in the App Store. It’s a useful geometry theorem reference app for high school students and math lovers alike.

Note: I received a copy of this app for review purposes.
