Puzzle:
I don’t know about everyone else, but I sure am glad that daylight saving time is over. There was something about walking into work while it was still pitch dark that just made me sad. Not so for our intrepid puzzle subjects this week. They were all so thrown off by the change in time (or confused with how to reset their clocks) that they smashed their bedside timepieces to bits and had to buy new ones. See if you can sort the particulars based on the following pieces of information:
- Rick didn’t buy the cheapest clock and it wasn’t the one purchased at Walgreens.
- The analog clock bought at Wal-Mart and was cheaper than the one bought by Dale.
- Shane didn’t buy the digital clock.
- The most expensive clock was the projection timepiece but wasn’t purchased at Target.
Solution:
This is a pretty straightforward logic puzzle. Apply the clues and you’ll learn that:
- Shane bought the cheapest clock, an analog timepiece, at Walmart.
- Rick bought the digital clock from Target and it was moderately priced.
- Dale purchased the projection clock, the most expensive one, from Walgreens.
