Do you have a budding photographer in your house? If your Ansel Adams or Mathew Brady is aged 6-14, they can enter this year’s National Geographic International Photography Contest for Kids. The competition is partnered with the US version of National Geographic Kids magazine. The deadline is November 1, 2010, so time is running out.

Photos can be in one of four categories: People, Animals, Scenery or Humor. Kids can submit one photo in any or all of the categories. The photo can be color or black and white, digital or film. Submit online, or in the mail. The international grand prize is a trip to Washington, D.C. If that isn’t exotic enough for you, a winner from the US/Canada region will win a trip to Toronto, Canada. Check out the National Geographic Kids website to submit your kid’s entry or to read the official rules. Good luck!
