Postage Stamp Funnies
Shannon Wheeler, best known for his (not-for-kids) comic Too Much Coffee Man, had a little collection of books called Postage Stamp Funnies
. And when I say “little,” I mean that literally. It’s a set of three tiny hardcover books, each a little smaller than an iPhone, with little single-panel cartoons (originally featured in The Onion). This particular collection is kid-friendly; I mean, there’s some stuff that might go over their heads and because it’s Shannon Wheeler there’s a twisted sense of humor in a lot of it. But there’s nothing really oh-gotta-hide-that-from-the-kids in there. Plus, it’s just so cute, in its wee little slipcover.
