Have you ever wanted to create your own flash game but you don’t know how to go about it? PlayCrafter has taken care of this by creating a free flash game creation program. Get an account to create and save your own games for free. You choose the pieces, the interaction, the goal, the environment, well, pretty much everything. Things like balloons, creatures, flags, cookies, flowers, bricks, Sad Bird Guy, Citizen Moon Child and the ever-popular Ball of Doom are at your disposal. Change the music, choose the environment and decide on the player-controlled elements. In this teaser how-to video, someone even used PlayCrafter to make a greeting card.

With PlayCrafter, you can play games that others have created or make your own. You can embed PlayCrafter games into web pages or run them on anything that is Flash 9+ friendly.

For those of you who prefer to get into the meat of the thing, you can now access the game piece XML definition and create your own with PlayCrafter Piece Creator. This is also free. If you want extra features or to be able to create games with more than ten levels, there is a paid premium account option for only $4.95 per month.

PlayCrafter also has a user forum and chat room. Their store even has some nifty looking T-shirts.

The only limit is your imagination. Others have created a total of over 25,000 games. What will you create?
