One of my favorite quick blogs to read is Indexed, done by Jessica Hagy. Venn diagrams being one of my favorite things ever, this blog captured my attention and my heart instantly. And now most mornings, I’m greeted with a new diagram in my feed reader. Some of her graphs and diagrams are funny, some touching, some political, some incredibly wise, a few hard to understand, but all interesting and thought provoking.

Started in 2006, Indexed has been recognized in one way or another (but all good) by the likes of Time Magazine, PC Magazine, Yahoo, The Guardian and The Webby Awards. It’s amazing how much Jessica can do with so little. The premise is simple, but she can explain fairly complicated concepts with very basic visual means.

You can get her work in book form with Indexed, Indexed Postcard Book and Indexed Reporter Notebook, and also in shirt form through Spreadshirt.
