Are you a robot-building geek? If you answered “yes” to that question, chances are you’ve played with a LEGO Mindstorms kit at some point in the last decade. The current NXT set is almost three years old now, and due for an update. Well, it’s about to get that update, and in the tradition of early-adopting beta testers everywhere, the GeekDads have been able to get their hands on the 2.0 set before the formal release later this year. Over the next few weeks, we’ll share with you our impressions of the new set (especially the new sensors and programming abilities), as things lead up to the formal release of this next phase in robot world-domination.
