The weekend just gets better and better. Things were already shaping up to be pretty awesome, what with Saturday being Free Comic Book Day and all. Next thing you know I get word that the Turtle Van is pulling into Philadelphia on Friday night. What did I do to deserve such an abundance of joy? It appears I missed a mile-stone in my getting old post, because the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles turn 25 this year!
As part of the shell-ebration, they’re using the Party Wagon as a mobile museum dedicated solely to the heroes in a half-shell. The tour kicked off in NYC last weekend and is currently set to hit 9 other cities in the weeks to come. You can check out the road trip page to find out where and when they will be traveling. For Turtle fans in the Philadelphia region, the Van will be at Brave New Worlds Friday night from 6 to 9. Then the boys will be grabbing some pizza at the Phillies game on Saturday from 1:30 to 3:30. Cowabunga!
