March 14th is Pi Day. Get it? 3.14? Clever, huh? (Unless you write your dates with the day first, then month, which would be 14.3 and would not mean much of anything.) I would suggest observing Pi Day by making a pie, then try to determine its circumference while eating it with no hands. Take pictures!

In an ironic twist of fate (and I mean ironic in the Alanis Morrisette sense) today is also Albert Einstein‘s Birthday. He would have been 130 years old today but if he were traveling at relativistic speeds, he would have appeared much younger.

And finally, today is exactly one month past Valentines Day, making it Guy Valentines Day. It has another name but I am not allowed to post it on this family-friendly blog. It has to do with a steak meal.  Google it, and you’ll understand.
