Arduino, RPG Superstar, and Maker’s Notebook Contest Updates

Geek Culture

Just a quick note to detail some interesting contests:

1) Arduino manufacturer Libellum announced last week their Hacking Life II Arduino Contest. Design and submit a cool project and win some of Libellum’s products: GPS, GPRS, SD and solar modules to add on to your Arduino. Additionally, anyone who submits a project gets a discount coupon for Libellum’s online store. Deadline: 4/15/09.

2) Paizo Publishing’s RPG Superstar game design contest will be announcing Round One winners on Tuesday. If you haven’t submitted already, you’re out — but if you’ve entered a wondrous item for Round One, you have a chance to survive the hellish series of contests to become the superstar and win a game design contract.

3) If you own a Maker’s Notebook, don’t forget to customize the heck out of it and post it to the MAKE flickr photo pool with the tag “mymakersnotebook” — the cool cats at the MAKE blog will pick the 3 raddest and send the makers new notebooks to hack all over again. Deadline: Tuesday.
